Milly Whatley, Attorney
Milly Whatley received her law degree from Harvard Law School in 1979, and since that time has acquired experience in various fields of law including civil litigation, criminal defense, trial practice, and appeals. She has practiced before state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Oregon. For the past ten years, Milly has focused her law practice on bankruptcy matters in Bend and the neighboring communities in and around Deschutes County in Central Oregon. She has filed over 1100 bankruptcy cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon.
Milly is a past member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Debtor-Creditor section. She is admitted to practice in all Oregon state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. Milly is a member of the Deschutes County Bar Association and Cascade Women Lawyers in Bend.
A native of Georgia, Milly has made her home in Bend since 1998. She is an aspiring banjo

Cindy LaRue, Senior Legal Assistant
Cindy brings to the firm a wealth of experience in bankruptcy document analysis and petition drafting. A native of Oregon and long-time resident of La Pine, Cindy has been employed by Milly Whatley, P.C. since 2006. Her organizational skills are unsurpassed, and she has established excellent relationships with Bankruptcy Court personnel. Clients are very appreciative of Cindy’s knowledge as well as her compassion.
Brady, Intern
Brady joined us in February, 2011. Her job is to be cute, and she is very good at it. She will happily greet you with shining eyes and wagging tail to make sure the bankruptcy experience is not too traumatic for you.
